Of course, the gist soon went viral that Toni had cheated on 9ice with a friend, and it wasn’t long before fingers started pointing at 9ice’s erstwhile benefactor, Ruggedman as the friend that made the cookie crumble.
Even though 9ice has come out to repeatedly debunk the claims that the song was a subliminal message to his estranged wife, the rumour mill has refused to stop churning theories of what led to the crash of the union.
However, in what can be said to be a frank description of her personality and disposition to love, Toni Payne uploaded the above picture on her Instagram page with the caption, “I love carelessly, live respectfully, speak intelligently, work passionately, trust recklessly, get hurt easily and bounce back effortlessly. Imperfect me,” she wrote.
The above lends credence to the theory held by a section of the public that Toni really did love 9ice deeply, and that the break-up hurt her.
